In recent years,the power distribution industry in China has developed rapidly.In addition to strictly complying with the engineering standards,designers also need to constantly deepen their understanding and mastery of the new trends of intelligent equipment and technology,so as to ensure that the increasingly strict demands of customers can be met to a large extent while providing products with guaranteed quality.According to my professional design experience in the power distribution industry for more than 20 years,the intelligent terminal power distribution system can become a benchmark product in the industry and lead the development direction of the power distribution industry in the future only if it has made breakthroughs in safety,diversity and innovation.
First of all,the development of terminal distribution system needs to solve the contradiction between simple and efficient and safe and reliable.The terminal distribution industry must provide reliable quality assurance,which is also an important determinant when we select products."Reliable quality"generally contains two connotations:first,the function of the product reaches or even exceeds the expectations of customers;Second,the product failure rate is low and the repair rate is low.
At present,some domestic advanced manufacturers such as Schneider Electric have made technological breakthroughs in this respect,which will certainly lead the development of the industry.For example,around the safe and reliable development idea,the entire series of acti9 products developed by Schneider Electric have a fault trip indication window.When the equipment trips due to fault,this window will give a red indication.The customer can quickly identify the fault without additional investment and improve the efficiency of maintenance.
On the basis of safety and reliability,it is a good product development mode to make the terminal power distribution system of originally complex commercial buildings and industrial facilities simple and efficient,and to make the design and operation more humanized.Schneider Electric's fast wiring system,18mm leakage circuit breaker,intuitive product code,clear product identification and other functions enable users to quickly master operation and maintenance,save design and installation time,and realize the unique advantages of less downtime,better power supply continuity,unattended automatic operation,better readability,and openness to any PLC and BMS system.
Secondly,the development of terminal distribution system needs to solve the contradiction between product diversity and system compatibility.The MULTi9 series products launched by Schneider Electric at the beginning of the 21st century can be called a complete product series in the terminal power distribution industry.From circuit breakers,leakage and surge protectors to distribution boxes,industrial sockets,various current levels,various tripping curves,and various material choices,they help customers improve the performance of the terminal power distribution system and meet the different needs of the vertical upstream and downstream industries.
In addition to meeting customers'needs for product diversity,Schneider Electric also pays close attention to the concept of systems and solutions.Based on the concept of the overall solution of acti9,Schneider Electric has successfully established a perfect coordination capability among acti9 products.Take the coordination of circuit breaker and leakage switch as an example.If the circuit breaker and leakage switch are used together,it must be ensured that the leakage switch protected by the circuit breaker will not be damaged by the overload or short-circuit fault of the line.However,we have lacked relevant technical data to verify the reliability of this protection.Schneider Electric acti9 times provided a detailed technical cooperation table,and promised that when the leakage switch and the circuit breaker are used together,the resistance of the leakage switch to the impulse current can reach the breaking capacity of the circuit breaker used together.This provides a reliable technical basis for our design work.
After that,the development of terminal distribution system needs to incorporate the concept of breakthrough innovation,which should not be limited to the innovative function development of individual products.In fact,the concept of"communication"has been introduced into Schneider Electric's product series.Communication is like the neural network of a control system.Only the power distribution that realizes the communication function can be called the"intelligent system"in the real sense.
Recently,Schneider Electric launched the fifth generation intelligent terminal power distribution system acti9,which realized the communication function in the terminal power distribution field for the first time.Through the communication interface,on the screen of the PLC or building management system,the user can see the status of the circuit breaker and receive the alarm signal.The PLC or building management system can even remotely control the connection and disconnection of the circuit breaker according to the program.This will help us realize the intelligent control of the terminal power distribution system,achieve the goal of energy conservation and environmental protection,and will greatly improve the maintenance and management ability of users to the terminal.
The 12th Five Year Plan period will be a critical period for China to change the mode of electric power development,and will also promote major innovation in electric power science and technology.Flexible,reliable,agile and intelligent will gradually dominate the development direction of the future distribution equipment market.How to better comply with the development trend of the times and more appropriately meet the needs of distribution system design will become the key to determine the success or failure of major power distribution manufacturers.The concept of Schneider intelligent terminal distribution system will become another milestone in the development of terminal electrical.
